@JoeTaxpayer With regard to the
locked question, may I suggest that the numbers be restored to the
original $85K and $100K since littleadv's comments and my answer were written in response to these numbers? A tax liability of $5K on income of $185K is more unbelievable than with the $65K in the latest version of the income claimed by the OP.
