@SuspendedUser I don't think I've ever done that. I did notice an account get disabled once when a user who objected to my comments went on a downvote spree against all my answers.

I think my "vote early, vote often" policy probably catches most answers.

@Móż Hmm. Not really "1,458 votes cast ". Of which the most of anyone are downvotes, beating even Blam/Frisbee. Each to there own, I guess. He does post a lot of helpful comments.

A "friend" took me up one of his favorite hills today. Turned the corner and it was like a wall. The first 300m climbs 46m at an average of 14%, but parts were over 24%! I got down to 8kph, walking speed, except I don't think I could walk up it that fast. After we got to the top of that first pinch he says (as we're climbing a bit that's only 10% or 12%) "there's another steep bit around the next bend!"

Blow me down if he doesn't lead a descent after that, so that when we got onto the main climb we still had 300m of climbing left. I was knackered before we got to the base of it, and it starts at 8-10-12%

When we got to the top it was cold, windy, and raining, as it does in the mountains.

All in all, a lovely day out ;-)

@andy256 sounds nice - A good climb warms you up.... As one of the guys at work said "I'm cold - lets go faster" (up a hill)
