Cow orker bought a nice looking emotion bike today.... 27.5" MTB full sus, knobbly everything, remote lockout and dropper post.

What's he going to do with it? Commute to work.

So I picked it up, the bike + battery weighs at least 30 kilos

He puts it on the floor and I see the suspension sag under its own weight. Scarey!

wonder how modifiable the motors in those things are, a twist throttle would be a fun addition

My ebike had a push button... it was ON or OFF and that was it

was scarey, even at 400W

@peteh - what happened to your icon?

400W is a fair amount for a bicycle

especially in one big dollop

400W is crazy for the average person using it

well it was 250 till I went from 24V to 36V
