goddamn the folder is hard to ride. Seat pole is 6" too short (and its 500mm long already) PLUS it slides down as I ride, so over an hour goes from merely suboptimal to knees-hitting-elbows to knees-in-the-face.

On a side note: looked at the starred feed on the right side, noticed "Oh wow, we have thunderbolt and lightning here, it is very, very frightening!" by @PeteH. It took me some 5 seconds to understand why @PeteH is afraid of connectors or maybe data interfaces... What a weird age we are in.

@Criggie this is correct if you look at it from this angle. However in a land of everything made to make everyone happy (and no one in process, but that's another story), which Japan advertises itself to be, this is a weird thing that bicyclists are largery ignored while being very common. This is Asia, after all, everyone's cycling!

@Criggie well....ubiquitous, except it does seem to be regional. Certainly ubiquitous around here!

@PeteH Its amazing what one can take for granted though.
Where I used to work had rubbish bins every 50 metres on the street
Now I work elsewhere in the city there are none at all.
Didn't really notice them till they're not there.
Why so common? It was the red light district, and condoms and syringes are better in the bin than on the footpath or in the garden/lawns.
but where I am now is coffee-shop boutique shopping at street level
so, little need
