Please, to any/all moderators: I flagged a question (please read for more details, some of which I'll repeat her) to draw attention to the rapid coordinated closure/voting to close, today, which target(ed) one specific user's post,
posts made by in may, june, july, august. I couldn't help but notice the asker's posts repeatedly appearing in the review queue for closing... realized asker's posts in review had one thing in common: same two users (first two..maybe another) initiated and/or voted to close.

Just an informal opinion about one of the last questions tagged (riemann– hypothesis). I don't like this post.

@amWhy what I believe (but it'd be easier for a mod to see) happened is that one user, who does a lot of maintainance in the (comm) algebra tags, became aware of the user in question. They then went through their posts in the relavant subject area and edited/vtc/commented as they considered appropriate. They did not VTC indiscriminately; on one they made an edit and it has no vote to close.
That the second/other vtc are often similar may well be coincidence due to the review queue, especially at at this point in time it is not that filled a user arriving shortly after the initial vtc spree will just come across all the posts.
Personally I think it's not a good idea to proceed like this. But I would not think the initial votes were targeted for personal reasons.
The activity also seems resticted to the tags that user manages.

@quid You are probably correct. I have to admit I was a bit startled when I first started reviewing and saw the asker's posts repeatedly coming up.
I'm still troubled by the vtc spree, though, almost as much as I am troubled by an upvoting spree (one user as recipient) or downvoting spree.
@quid I can see the moderator in you! (That's a big compliment btw) ;-)

@amWhy yes, I understand this. It is one reason why I think it was not a good idea. It becomes hard to distinguish legit from non-legit activity. Another is that it can make sense to give OP some time to fix similar problems.
Thanks for the kind words. :-)

Moderator/s I appreciate the fact that my flag today, referenced above, was seen to be helpful. The question that remains for me is who/how are such situations monitored. I feel compelled now to participate in the "close" review cue, but skip on each nominee so I can monitor any targeting of any specific user's posts.
Because if I vote (leave open/close) 20 times, I'm barred from seeing other posts in the close queue, which makes vtc sprees targeting one user in one day prone to be under the radar.

@DanielFischer Can you address my posted concern? Is there any way to access a list of vtc questions with the relevant asker and corresponding closers? Or some stat location where that info can be discerned?
@quid has been very helpful to me about this matter, but I came to realize that "serial closing" targeting one asker's posts may happen far more than we're able to discern, for lack of monitoring.

Okay @DanielFischer, please understand that I'm not trying to be confrontative. Not at all. I guess I've been a bit oblivious about such behavior (serial vtc's); ( I can be very naive.) I mean, I do know that some folks here are prolific when it comes to vtc; what I'm concerned with is vtc targeting any specific user. Do there exist any checks on this?
And if not, then there ought to be.
