:) well enough rant for one evening, the world is plain and simply shit crazy

I installed Windows 8.1 last week... played my game for three hours... woke up machine next day and it was dead because after suspend Windows went into hibernate... locked drive... after recovery Nvidia drivers were all gone and Windows doesn't even see the card anymore but Ubuntu does :(

I have maybe a silly doubt on function keys: they are usually a combination of ESC and some other characters (For example, HOME here gives me ^[[H which is ESC + [ + H). Can we recreate them by pressing ESC and those keys somehow? Or they are only interpreted as the function key if there's no significant delay between the presses?
