In the following command: ps aux | grep apache2 | grep -v pts

anyone knows what the -v pts part is for?

ok i see what it does. the -v flag inverts the match in grep. So return all lines that do not contain pts.

Not sure that's true. I see types a plenty in dconf editor and one of them is as which does not exist fore gconf as you explained. That implies that it is a dconf type.

@blade19899 it's a bit of a pain to figure out how to get the BIOS. Try F2 or F12.

on my laptop, f12 gives me a boot menu, and the last option is bios settings.

@terdon I doubt so, the dconf databases doesn't need a "type" value, as they are just directories/paths and keys, also several examples don't have "type"
