Q: TexturePacker alternative?

HerksIs there any sprite sheets editor like TexturePacker, because I have searched through the web and doesn't seen any similar tool.

Wow have tried like 6. They either have an upload problem, drag and drop problem, or they do upload the image but then do not create the actual png sprite file, and I really do not want to continue creating the sprites manually.

Oh, you mean for making the sprite itself, not for using the sprite animation...nevermind

for using the sprite I was doing it via a javascript code I made but if the one you are mentioning is better, I'll use it.

it already looks better than mine like 10 years better
now I need one that I can tell it what images i'll use and it creates the sprite file

that's an imagemagick script. probably under 20 lines of python.

Hello. It's weird that the hier command isn't found on my Ubuntu system (Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS) or in the repos, but there's a man page for it: manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/quantal/en/man7/hier.7.html
