@phil1008 posting the same video to several questions looked like spam. I wouldn't be surprised if almost no one actually looked at the video; I didn't. To be part of an answer, the salient details from the video should really be included in the answer itself.
You aren't "canceled." You're probably not going to make any friends speculating on whether the community of aerospace engineers and space enthusiasts here has realistic views of launch costs, though.
I see you wrote the same stuff in the comments of Rory's answer to your meta question :/ all you have to do is write answers that are 1) actually relevant to the questions and 2) self-contained enough that if that Youtube video goes away, which they do sometimes, the answer isn't rendered totally meaningless
or write a question people take interest in. chill out and take a look around the site

actually, gosh. EVERYTHING you've done looks like you're spamming Project Atlantis stuff. I didn't realize the "twin screw" launcher thing was from there too--I was about to vote to undelete that answer. Nevermind; I no longer think you're attempting to engage with the site under honest auspices.

@erinanne I'm just answering questions about what I know. One question was about whether you could launch from Olypmus Mons. I've studied launching from mountaintops on Earth, so I used that knowledge to explain that it should be possible. Another was on challenges for high-altitude rail guns. I have developed a parametric model of exactly this and recently published and presented work on this. The last was on alternatives to rail guns for the moon.
So I shared info about the new twin-screw technology that I recently presented at Ascend. Is talking about subjects that you're knowledgeable on "spamming".
But you make a good point about the YouTube video potentially going away. I'll happily delete the video links and replace them with images if my answers are ever undeleted. Maybe I'll try your suggestions and see if my answer fairs better.
(BTW, I already removed the link for one of them before it was deleted.)

"Avoid overt self-promotion.

The community tends to vote down overt self-promotion and flag it as spam. Post good, relevant answers, and if some (but not all) happen to be about your product or website, that’s okay. However, if you mention your product, website, etc. in your question or answer, you must disclose your affiliation in your post."

putting up a bunch of links to your papers and presentation without disclosing that they're yours? yeah, that's spamming.

These are good points. I will comply.

Sigh, I just spent the evening writing up a long new answer and when I hit submit the site said "Sorry, we are no longer accepting answers from your account because most of your answers need improvement or do not sufficiently answer the question. See the Help Center to learn more."
