@James Well, I also work on ticks (which are arachnids). Nowhere near as much as on insects though (and I personally agree entirely with your point; just wanted to point out that it's a sensitive subject for some tick people). @arboviral The differences aren't even subtle. Thanks for clarifying that people in the field do see two very distinct fields of study. It's an important point to remember for for academic study in the respective fields! I'll certainly bring it up on meta if I see something similar. The question would be to either edit the entomology tag or establish the arachnology tag.

Would it be a stupid question to ask what "total antibodies" are?
I came across this expression. "Measurement of total antibodies" etc.

Does it mean "antibodies active against any protein produced by H. Pylori"?
