@AnkitSharma I guess I just have higher standards than you. And I don't mean that in a bad way, I'm just starting to realise I might be a fair bit pickier than most.

@DrRDizzle right, because they've never directly set up Dark Phoenix in a movie and then completely failed to deliver.

Maybe they can do it this time better

i am skeptical of the idea of mystique being the key hero in the story

they seem to be slotting her into the emma frost roll of villain-turned-x-men-leader

That’s weird to me but i am more confused with what they are doing with Magneto

But is not she leaving then franchise after apocalypse?

she said she would come back if mcavoy and fassbender did

well, she didn't commit to it, but she basically said that was her condition

I like magneto and mystique back to be villain not this heroism drama

she's by far the biggest star in the movie.

helly berry was big name too but her strom is too boring to me

@KutuluMike she was hero in previous film too, so it's too much for me. She is one of my fav x-men comics character but not like this

she wasn't really the hero in the last movie, she was more like the anti-hero

she was trying to murder people, she just decided that saving someone's life benefitted her more than killing him

I loved how she was in X-men evolution and some similar works

So for me adapting her like this is too much

I haven't read the Dark Phoenix story, so I have no opinion on if they butchered it or not, which seems to be most peoples biggest issue.

And beyond that, it's an entirely competent film that concludes the trilogy in a fairly satisfying way.

It handles the characters it still has access to well, and fits in well with X-Men and X-Men 2 both tonally and thematically.

It killed the franchise + poor acting here and there and repeated use of good X-men character badly

I've never really understood the hate for it.

Famke acted quite bad, i never liked her jean grey and that lame Cyclops and over use of wolverine

And then that end credit to fix the problem or to create more issue

It's better than X-Men: Apocalypse in pretty much everyway.

It seems Mister sinister is planed for Old Man Logan which is weird, as that means he can't appear in current x-men films or they might make more continuity issues
