but then I'm also well aware there is a difference between building something that's well planned out and what actually ends up happening when feature creep and what not become a factor
oh that's only an "actual" month

which is probably about right for 800 hours as a hobby
I'm pretty sure Valve actually overtly gave up on securing their server, and just instruct admins to run it as a user with no permissions or in a jail shell, and to just kick game cheaters
I think git works completely in theory and for small projects in practice but where I've always had issues with every VCS is when multiple users are making diverging changes to something at the same time
@Simon I have no problem with that. I'm the first to admit i have trouble with things I have trouble with. But I learned P4 very very quickly, and after going through tutorials on git, I still don't get it.
so... yesterday at the Unity course we were supposed to make a simple weapon to shoot simple bullets, and then we used a blank object child to the weapon to serve as start position: fine then we used the basic velocity to make the cloned bullet actually move: fine the problem is, it became a mess in my mind and I couldn't find myself the correct solution to actually make the bullet point at the direction the weapon was looking, and the instructor was too busy with people that got behind for w/e reason
