I've just had a dream and I think it's going to be a very good game if ever developed.
I'm posting it here, since I think one of you guys might someday create a game and let me play it!
here is the plot:
you went to a trip outside country for a long time, so you don't know the reason behind anything happen in these years,
the game is happening somewhere near 2030 with technologies a bit more complected than what we do have now.
anyway after the long trip you come home and here news about death of one of your friends.
you know it happened in a mall, so you go in there and try to solve the mystery.
the time flows as the real world's time.
in the first two weeks people only tell you answers to questions about the present, but in the third week they will also answer questions about the past.
now here is what make s developing this game hard:
player should be able to ask any question he likes from the shop keepers, so have a list of questions doesn't really make sense. there should be some method for language processing.
I mean you should really ask question either via typing it or asking through microphone.
events happened in the years you weren't at home should be different everytime you start a new game.
even the killer and his reasons of death should be dynamic.
obviously the killer doesn't want you to find him, so he might want to tell lies.
(we only know killer is one of the people who is always at mall)
other people might also lie but it depends on whether it's beneficial to them or not.

and let me tell you how it happened for me last night,
as I said through game description, I wasn't home for almost 20 years.
when I came back too many things changed.
that friend of mine who was murdered was a girl whom I later found out was a prostitute.
the mall had three floors, the first one mainly consist of clothing shops.
the second one had a lot of banks and restaurants. and I never went to the third floor.
from the first floor the only thing I found out was that she was somehow popular in that mall,
in the second floor one of the bank keepers told me that she died simply by falling over the steps.
later when I went in another clothing shop in the second floor (the only one in that floor)
he started telling me once he dated that woman, bla bla bla...
I remember saying well, that's what I thought she might be doing in these times. and he replayed "but I guess you didn't here she couldn't have a baby".
after that sentence I remember one of the shop keepers in the first floor tried to kill me several times.
also I remember news papers scattered all over the place, just as you could see them in "deus ex:human revolution"
they were telling stories related and unrelated to this mall and the persons in the mall.

8:18 AM
even if you don't read the whole thing I still am happy to post it here, it was the only reason I could tell the whole story. I've saved it in my computer, and you also can.
no matter who creates the game I really want to play it!

Q: Importing Wavefront .obj

ChorcheI'm trying to use this example https://github.com/ldo/ObjViewer_Android to import Wavefront .obj file for a game that i'm developing. The problem is that the example is not working for me. When i compile it in eclipse, it asks me to remove few @Override methods, and when i run the app on my phone...

@Gajet If I had the knowledge(and wasn't too lazy) I sure would make this game. Pretty interesting idea.

@GustavoGtoknu if your only problem was knowledge, I could help you build the game. almost all of the problems you might face while developing that game are already solved in several distinct projects. the only thing you need is to merge all those projects and boom a game was created!

@Gajet Making the game is pretty straigth-forward. Just wondering how hard would be the questions recognition. Maybe someday we (or someone else) can make a prototype about this
