@yagoo I just noticed that my answer is wrong. The transformation to integral form omitted a term involving a derivative of $\lambda$. This probably means that the index of the system is bigger than one, which will require some mastery of the techniques to solve. — Thomas Klimpel Mar 30 at 7:45

A: How to solve ODEs with constraints using BVP4C?

Thomas KlimpelYou call this system an ODE (ordinary differential equation), but this sort of system is actually called an DAE (differential algebraic equation). What should I do to deal with above constraint? The constraint $\dot{x}^2 + \dot{y}^2 = 1$ is a smaller problem than the fact that you need to d...

Hi everyone, I am trying to get some help with a signal processing question that I have posted here (dsp.stackexchange.com/questions/22766/…). However, it has been quite some time and I haven't got a response. I am sure that many people in the Computational Science Stackexchange might have some insight. Would it be alright to make a post about this in SciComp? It is a 2D-DFT/FFT analysis type question. Thanks.
