@fms are you around?
When you get a chance to pop in... I'm curious about your recent post activity. you've got several questions that are very similar, and I'm wondering if you're trying go get a theological point across, or really, what's the purpose of asking the same question over and over again from very slightly different angles.

Am I trying go get a theological point across? No, because I already know what my Church teaches on the topic.
2) What's the purpose of asking the same question over and over again from very slightly different angles. If From Scripture, what is the biblical basis gay marriage is a right from God? (on hold) was not to me frustrated,
(Cont.) there would have been no point in me trying to find a way to get an answer to a very basic question: 'The question is not political, but is has a political backdrop. If the declaration says rights are from God, and a government leader has now go on to identify a derived right from the rights from God, the question is simply asking whether Christians from Revelation (in this case the Bible) can find a biblical basis for such a right.' cf. my comment to @fredsbend in the post.
To put things in perspective as regards the to me the targeted and on-purpose out-to-frustrate, please see this post and this.
To me there is not apparent closure of the first post and for marking the 2nd as a duplicate. I was thinking of taking it to Meta but i will leave them to you to best handle.

@FMS I must be tired because "Am I trying go get a theological point across? No, because I already know what my Church teaches on the topic" isn't making sense to me, If you already know, then you're clearly not asking to get information, and it seems that the only reason to post the question is to teach by posting a question and answer... Which is getting the theological point across.
I didn't say it was a bad thing. Posting a question and self-answering is actually encouraged.
At this point, I'm not trying to jump on you for anything, I'm just trying to understand you better. From a moderator's perspective, I'm just seeing that there's some conflict between you and some of the rest of the community, and I'm seeing some frustration from you, as well as frustration from others with you.
I've got this foolish notion that I can try to help smooth things over, but I'm not sure how to do it, and getting to know and understand your motivations and thought processes seems a good place to start.
For the record, IMO, you're not doing anything against the rules by posting those questions over and over, but based on te down-votes and votes to close, it seems to be not well received by the community, and therefore disruptive. I'm wondering if there's anything I can suggest to help you phrase things in a way that's more well received...
If you can get things phrased on a way that the rest of the community understands, it's better for the community because it's more likely to be useful and informative to ALL visitors, not just the established ones.
I've got to believe that your motivation for participation is to share knowledge, but if you're doing so in such a way that people don't want to bother with it, that's counter-productive. So I want to see if there's some way I can help of offer advice on how to share your ideas in a way that works.
I hope that doesn't sound too arrogant. For some background, part of my motivation is that I've got a problem with verbosity. At work, I got a lot of feedback about my communication style, and I learned to be more effective in that setting by listening to the advice of people who had been down that road. I see this as a chance to pay it forward.

@DavidStratton You have been a balanced helpful reasonable Moderator and also fellow user. You are fair. I welcome and appreciate your help.
Slight correction: please see my profile, I have recently stated why I am here after I felt people were questioning my true motives. I really do not have an agenda and I ask questions to learn and to share. Perhaps we can stars right here where we are. The question, and it is something I sincerely want to know: ' is there a biblical basis that gay-marriage is or is not a right?
How best to frame and ask the question so that it is well received? The political backdrop was just that a backdrop to show that the 'secular' governments now consider it a right, can Christians in turn find a biblical basis for gay-marriage as a right? I hope I have explained myself. Please assist and I truly appreciate your reach out. God bless you and bless His work and your hands and all near and dear to you.
