@gung I must say, I really appreciate the help you have been providing in response to questions that exhibit misunderstandings (such as the recent answer at stats.stackexchange.com/questions/139988). Your patience and clear focus on essential issues are very helpful, even when many of the posters are unable to recognize it!

@gung I agree they are minor: but many of them are likely important to the posters and, as you know, we do like to answer all reasonable questions if we can. I am well aware that these kinds of answers tend to get few upvotes--I just wanted you to know that your efforts don't go unrecognized.
