@d0rmLife, why not start with the simplest question on the main site. We have no problem with beginner questions. We may have to work with you to clarify the question & make sure it is suitably on-topic for CV, but the main site is most appropriate for questions & answers. There are more facilities (formatting etc) & it will be easier for others to subsequently find & benefit from your question.

@Mr.Wizard, why not try to post the question you've already discussed here on the main site? There was a lot of good information in your conversation with @whuber, but it will promptly be lost. The main site is much, much better for hashing out those issues and providing top quality answers, and the answer will be around for posterity and benefit many more people.

@Glen_b, that is nice. I'd stepped out queues I reached 1k reviews to let other (new in the privilege) users to be involved. I hypothesized it would help increasing overall participation. And one can always continue reviewing (and monitoring) outside the queues. +1.
