Also,

Happy Birthday @AaronBertrand (NZ time).

Is it? In that case happy Birthday @AaronBertrand
@PaulWhite Do you have the means to play region 2 DVDs?

1 February, so Outlook calendar tells me.
@ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells I do.

@PaulWhite Jolly good.

At least I think so. We certainly "adjusted" one of the players to be region zero at some stage. Not entirely sure it's the current unit, come to think of it. Why?

3:59 PM
@PaulWhite A small token. Thanks for your help. Your tracking number is 203-6190885-6373952
(amazon.co.uk)

Ooo! Surprises! We like surprises! Thanks!

@PaulWhite Is May 18 for drinkies still looking likely?

Q: Transaction log become huge when globally disabling constraints

e4rthdogUsing SSIS to build our DW. During final star schema creation i need to disable all constraints so i use this command in a stored procedure in an SQL execute task: EXEC sp_msforeachtable "ALTER TABLE ? NOCHECK CONSTRAINT all It takes forever to complete and my transaction log becomes huge to ...

@ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells Waiting on details from Norway (long story)

Would turning off a check constraint cause the log to grow or is the OP mad?

4:05 PM
@billinkc On a completely unrelated matter, do they fit properly?

@billinkc Mostly likely mad. See where they posted the question? Nuff said.
@ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells Which courier is that? I can't see anywhere on amazon that would accept that number.

@PaulWhite It's the amazon order number. According to them it should take 8-12 days to arrive. If it doesn't show then I guess you use that reference number to open a ticket.

@ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells Ok.

@PaulWhite Maybe only the sender can track it. I thought they had an order tracking facility but I can only find links to see it from my account.

@ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells Poor lighting in the room but a very comfy garment
The other one though...

Very cool in summer.

@billinkc Glad you're pleased with it.
@billinkc What about it?

Quite chuffed

Was it supposed to be a lavalava as well? It's more like a banner

Perfect.

4:14 PM
@billinkc It was advertised as a LavaLava. I got it off an auction site so it was sight unseen.

Interesting. Has no ties on it. Perhaps one wears it with a belt

Some of them you have to tie manually and creatively.
See the internet for details.

If you're feeling particularly self-confident you can tie them manually like a sarong.

What's the internet?
GIMMIE DA CODEZ

@billinkc It's a place where terrorists recruit child-molesters to sell hard drugs and guns to hackers.

4:16 PM
In Rarotonga last year some people showed us how to convert a similar unpromising piece of cloth into a proper bikini-type thing (for a lady, of course). Very complicated, but amazing result.

Speaking of hard drugs, I have a lovely assortment here now

@PaulWhite I dunno - my man-boobs could possibly make use of it.

moobs!

Two Thursdays ago, I squatted down and caused my lower back to spasm. It's done it before and thought nothing of it beyond I should take some ibuprofen.
Monday morning, family's already gone and I'm about to leave for work, pull on a sock and oh holy crap, does my back start to spasm. Wrenches me off the bed.

Ibuprofen replaced with something more entertaining then?
Youtube link or it didn't happen

4:19 PM
Something involving opiates?

Get back up, drenched in sweat and tell myself I don't have time for this and worked the other one on and now both sides of the lower back are roaring in pain.

Step into the closet to pull on my trousers and down for the count. Spent 5 hours on the floor before I gave up and called the wife. Ended up having to get an ambulance to get me out of there as she's not strong enough. Spent 2 days in the hospital with IV happy drugs and now I have them in pill form

Goodness. 5 hours!

Opiates, muscle relaxants and nsaid
So, this has been one hell of a week

4:22 PM
At least you have a new skirt. Looking on the bright side, and all that.

Seriously though, I hope you feel better soon. And it never happens again.

Exactly. And I wrote a bit for something that will never be published but it's been somewhat nice lying in bed for a week
I'm moving much better the past day or so but yes, I used to think a migraine was something I'd never wish on my worst enemy. This experience has topped that
But thank you for the recovery wishes. Probably karma for favoriting your Las Vegas black eye photo
@jasonhorner it's all risk, just like the band says http://t.co/KtMKvzgQxd

Get well soon and enjoy your LavaLava

@billinkc Ha.

mm i think that the DELETE statemetns after the disable was the issue..the thing is that truncate will not work with disable..i wonder is there an option to control commit size n a delete from statement? — e4rthdog 1 min ago

What a surprise.

4:31 PM
I am shocked. Shocked I tell you
