tenses
it made perfect sense to me at the time, and now that i look at the examples, they don't make sense anymore.
the first one is obviously right, the second is obviously wrong.
i believe i was thinking about something else at the time, something that i didnt convey well....but what was it...
i wish i could delete the question
somehow it has 10k views and it's just useless
