I think that's how it's spelt. I was tempted to use "scalping", because you're American, but I thought maybe touting might be universal

If you'd used "scalping" then I wouldn't have learned anything. Hey, is "scalping" culturally insensitive, or does that originate from elsewhere?

I think it might be culturally insensitive, due to a t-shirt I have about lacrosse, but I don't know the etymology

(the t-shirt says "we've been scalping since before there were tickets")
