@Standback Hey, I was wondering if you could advise me about my answer to this question you revised (it looks great by the way). My answer wasn't stellar to begin with, but now it's not really geared for the question. Would you think I should revise my answer now?

I think you have an extra word in there though; it reads "...either make tell...", The "make" should go and the "either" could as well.

@KaiMaxfield: You're right; your answer doesn't match up with the question any more. (That's why we try to close early, and probably should try to close even earlier; otherwise people start giving great answers to questions that really need work :P )
Your answer is basically addressing the question: "I want this as a plot twist, but I'm having trouble swinging that, because there's some things I need to conceal which will be awkward."
My suggestion? Write that question up, post your answer there, delete your answer to the current question.
--that effectively splits the original question, which was broad, into two different questions -- "How do I make this kind of choice?", and "How do I carry out this decision I've made?". Which is great.

Q: Submitting a partially complete draft?

kmunkyI'm 50,000 words into my first book. Based on my plot and roadmap, that's about 25% of the way into it, so about 200k. I have roughly 110 pages in a good place, as I've already re-drafted three or four times, polishing it up to get it ready for submission. This part is ready, but obviously the r...
