6:50 PM
runs around in a little circle for a few minutes

waves laser pointer some more

attacks wall
crashes into coffee table
kicks feet from halfway under sofa

hehe your gravatar even looks like you might be chasing a pointer

Oh yeah!
pounce

So I'm kid-free for the whole month

7:04 PM
Wha—? How is that possible?

they are visiting their grandparents

Wow. I think that would make me crazy. A whole month? What will you do?
Is momma with them?

nope, she's here with me
so far what we've done is eat pizza.

Don't you miss them like crazy?
Are they far, far away?

2 hours away

7:19 PM
tries to imagine not having boys for a month
I bet that would solve my little sexual dysfunction.
Either that, or I would spend all of our money.
Or both.

teeheee we are planning to go cross-border shopping
my wife said "we've saved $2000 in daycare this month" and I'm like "cha-ching! LEGO!!!!"

7:36 PM
Nice.

So far it's going well. We arrived at my parents house on Saturday, I left the kids there on Sunday (youngest was napping so I didn't even say goodbye to him) and I'm told that they are going to bed on time every day with no fuss, my daughter actually SLEEPS on time instead of how she is at home, and they haven't mentioned mom or dad once yet.

Aww.
And then you were like "FREEDOM!!!" and ran for it.

And now you realize that it really is possible to feel two completely diametrically opposed emotions simultaneously for a prolonged period.
Which means, you are practically a woman.

heheh
I started missing the kids before they were actually gone. I actually miss them less right now than I did then.
What I don't miss is getting them up for daycare in the morning. Now I sleep in until 8am, get up, shower, and go downstairs to my home office and I'm at work at 8:20

7:46 PM
envy

Today I'm putting my database schema into CVS! well, part of it
something that should have been done in 2003

8:01 PM
See you later @Mr.Shiny!
