I agree there may be a problem when going from 10Gb to 100Mb but why is there still a problem when at 100Mb from the start (as in the iperf tests)? "The output above clearly shows problems in the DC to remote direction; we should expect to see 9Mbps" That's exactly my question. Why isn't that so? Buffers at the remote site? Or the ISP's traffic shaper? Why would it shape the data incoming from the DC, since the CIR there is 100Mb?

I've made another iperf 9 Mbps UDP test with 10Mbps at both ends, see update#3
