In this case... I think frozen ravioli are usually fully cooked and you're just basically thawing and heating them in the water? You might have to check how long they take to cook to tell for sure.
Seems like an "it depends" thing, since if they're frozen really solid and the recipe expects them to be room temperature, they could end up cold inside after frying?
