A: Would retaliation occur for attacking a slave in the afterlife even if the owner repents without freeing the slave?

The Muslim InformerThis is not from the Prophet Muhammad, Ammar ibn Yasir said this, he is not the Messenger of Allah so we don't take rulings from him. Also, if you oppress your slave you have to free him: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 180 Abu 'Umar Zadhan said, "We were with Ibn 'Umar when he summoned a slave of his whom he ...

Imam Bukhari said is his book as mentioned above, that if a slave is slapped he does not have to be freed rather it is a recommendation.

The fact of the matter is that Ammar ibn Yasir would not have said anything from the Unseen without evidence, recourse and authority from the Prophet. Knowing matters of Judgement Day is dependant on revealed knowledge.

We can't just say the prophet Muhammad said something without a source, please show me a source where Ammar ibn Yasir said he got what he said about slaves from the Prophet Muhammad
user57106, why did the Prophet Muhammad not add that? That is not from the Hadith, Imam Bukhari is not the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad is. If you believe Ammar Ibn Yasir and Imam Bukhari can make rulings in Islam, dislike my comment as you like. "...Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatever he forbids you from, leave it. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is severe in punishment"-Surah 59 verse 7. By the way, I still respect these men for what they contributed to Islam, it's just that. We shouldn't take their opinions as rulings of Islam.

@The Muslim Informer Unless you're accusing a sahabi of lying then this is not the case. A LOT of narrations attributed from the Sahaba without direct mention of the Prophet as the source exist didn't you know that? Refer back to my first response. We trust the Sahaba because they would never, I repeat NEVER have spoken anything about the Unseen unless they have learnt it from the Prophet.
"If you believe Ammar Ibn Yasir and Imam Bukhari can make rulings in Islam, dislike my comment as you like." Now that's just strawman.

I said 'if', also believing Ammar ibn Yasir and Imam Bukhari can make rulings in Islam without the Prophet Muhammad is literally believing they're messengers.

Unless I wasn't clear : We trust the Sahaba because they would never, I repeat NEVER have spoken anything about the Unseen unless they have learnt it from the Prophet.
Again it doesn't make sense and is out of place because we never believe that and wouldn't even dare believe that. Do you understand the purpose of collecting hadith? It's to preserve rulings and teachings FROM the Prophet ﷺ.

Where is a source of the Prophet Muhammad saying this statement that Ammar ibn Yasir supposedly transmitted from him? All Hadith that are from the Prophet Muhammad clearly say that he said it himself.

Read my comments. Are you accusing a sahabi of making stuff up about the Unseen?
It seems this is going nowhere. I suggest you ask someone with authority to teach you about Mawquf or Marfu' ahadith. But it seems you're even ready to doubt a celebrated muhaddith like Bukhari.
This is my last comment. If you can't even trust the scholars after this then I'm not one to prolong this discussion. Here's another link for you : muftiwp.gov.my/en/artikel/irsyad-al-hadith/…
Jazak Allahu khayr

@The Muslim Informer Also imam nawawi said it was a consensus that it was not an obligation. Nawawi also provides evidence from Muhammad PBUH. islamweb.net/ar/library/content/53/5073/…

Why would you expect me to know Arabic? Also I don't doubt al-Bukhari it's just that in the Hadith the prophet Muhammad clearly states this: "The expiation of someone who beats a slave more than he deserves or slaps his face is that he must set him free.". If I'm wrong I'm open to correction, just at least show me a Hadith from the Prophet Muhammad proving me otherwise.

@The Muslim Informer did you read the links I gave you? They're not even in Arabic. Have you studied Mawquf and Marfu' ahadith? You don't doubt the Muhaddithun and yet you don't seem to be welcoming of their sciences in hadith acceptability. Please show some humility. Your question has already been answered. No one wishes to go back and forth on this. If you're still unsatisfied then maybe this place is not for you.

This argument is honestly getting nowhere, so let's agree to disagree and call it a day. I'm not doubting any transmitter of Hadith, it's just that he should have evidence from a Hadith.

@The Muslim Informer you debate like someone who's an expert in hadith science. The problem is you don't want to accept the scholarly verdict. What gives you the right to disagree with the scholars? It's all because you don't know how a hadith is accepted (I seriously don't know how one doubts the integrity of a Sahabi). So you like or dislike based on your own nafs. Your argument is not knowledge based so not only is this not going anywhere, it's a waste of time from the start.
I doubt that you've read those thinks. Indeed it's a waste of time if you don't have the humility to learn.
