To be honest, couple days ago, the cashier took my credit card and gave it back to me without giving me the machine to type my PIN.

I was like "hu? what?". Turns out she used contact-less payment.

So, I (involuntarily) sacrificed security for what? sparing 30s to type my PIN?

@M'vy yeah that contactless thing is getting more common, and it's got to be a fraud risk

a few years back the UK tried to legislate CAP only. cancelled it right before the law was supposed to take effect, since sooo many businesses / issuers / banks / etc were just not ready.

Well, I have just increased the return on investment of my mom, sending her flowers for mother's day.

makes up for carrying in her womb for 9 months, then a horrid childbirth, then daipers, screaming, lack of sleep, crazy costs for everything from school to summercamp to music lessons, college, etc etc.

But at least she'll get flowers once a year. ;-)

Q: Is the V flight formation being used for commercial purposes?

The V Flight Formation been found to be helpful in achieving greater fuel efficiency and range. Though it is currently used mostly for military purposes, is it used for commercial purposes anywhere? And if no, please elaborate why.. Thanks!
