I use only this one because I do not remember the credentials I used for others, not even the emails I used for them. Once I contacted the moderators to merge two of my accounts but I never received an answer.
@kalina Gender is irrelevant to this discussion either way. The point where gender start being relevant is the point when you are deciding to do something that requires gender specific bodyparts.
@Begueradj Really, most? I find that claim dubious. Certainly there's a significant portion from the U.K., but there's also a substantial portion from the U.S., a couple Canadians, and several from other regions. A fairly diverse group.

So, I just had a browse around the current room members. Of those who claim any locale in their profile, the largest majority (though still less than half of all) is indeed from the U.K.. The next-most represented country appears to be the U.S., and then there's a wide mix after.

On a completely unrelated topic: I just recently realized how ridiculously huge space is, and how inadequate sci-fi is at relating starship speed to real-world dimensions. For example: To travel from Sol to Proxima Centauri in less than one Earth day would require speeds well in excess of 1,000c! I can't think of any sci-fi work that has mentioned their ships going that fast!

@RоryMcCune Yeah, that's the only one so far that seems to get close. And when you engage hyperdrive, your speed randomly fluctuates between four-digit factors of c. (Though anything within that range is still far from sufficient to accommodate the simulated travel duration.)
@kalina And very mutable, apparently. According to Wikipedia, the formula for warp factor velocity is v=c*(w^(10/3)). That means a trip to Proxima Centauri (4.24 ly from Sol) should take around a day at Warp 9. But, at the same time, a trip to Qo'noS (somewhere less than 90 ly from Sol) supposedly takes only 4 days at Warp 4.5.
@RоryMcCune It's mildly amusing how TOS recorded objects going higher than warp 30, but later generations decided that 10 would be the "infinite speed" factor.
I guess they wanted to make it so that "infinite speed" seemed like something just barely out of reach.
