Q: Does the word Satan ever show up in the New Testament?

Jim ThioSatan is a Hebrew word that means adversary. The New Testament is written in Greek. So I guess not. It seems that they have another word. Diabolos or something that means the devil. Is that devil the same guy as Satan?

^^^I answered rather than closing this it because it appears based on things like this question and this one and this one as well as some meta activity that the community thinks such things are on topic. Feedback welcome.
I did feel the need to narrow it for a follow-up question, but Jim's to me seemed very answerable. I think the problematic questions in this vein could usually be called "too broad."
(The network "hot questions" list doesn't do us any favors over here. They tend to be not-great questions with not-great answers because (well, the latter anyway) time is so important in their formula, and good BH answers aren't written quickly. Probably not-great questions just because people click on provocative titles.)
