@FrankLuke I'm sure you know the history of the Pentecostal Movement much better than I do, but the "Jesus Only" doctrine separated the descendants of the Azuza Street Revival Movement in the early 20th century. The Assemblies of God, which were Trinitarian, whereas the United Pentecostal were "Jesus Only". The "Jesus Only", or "Oneness" churches register about 17 million members, vs A of G, which number 56 Million.
@All What I find interesting is that the "Holiness Movement", which invaded BOTH A of G and United Pentecostal, was strongly anti-Pentecostal, even going so far as to say the 'evidence of tongues' is of the devil, yet the Baptism of the Holy Spirit(or 2nd blessing) was necessary for "Entire Sanctification". The United Pentecostals were even more extreme in their Holiness Doctrine.
@AJHenderson You got your ears on?
@AJHenderson I'm curious to know why I lost 48 rep. points over a user quitting-who quit?
@JackDouglas I thought you'd find this interesting; I did after reading it again. The wording is that this is only a "thought". ;-) biblegateway.com/passage/… Hmmm...
@JackDouglas ...I mean should I actually do it? Or should I just consider doing it?
