@majnemɪzdæn @JackDouglas - what it is to have The Power! ;) Thanks maj! (Funny - I thought I might be able to see my own deleted comments, but I can't. Maybe after 10K rep?)

@Davïd Pretty sure that's a diamond mod only thing. (Even they weren't always able to.) Also, I think you've achieved all the privileges available to non-mods on a beta site. Please keep answering anyway. ;-)

@Susan Ah, thanks Susan. I thought somewhere I had picked up something about a 10K threshold for something ... but that's a bit vague! :)

Q: Why does John not participate properly in worship in the book of Revelation?

timothyOne central theme in the book of Revelation is worship. For instance, in Craig Koester's book, "Revelation and the End of All Things", he considers the worship scene in chapters 4-5 to form the heart of the whole vision, with John's visions returning there repeatedly between the visions of judgme...

@Davïd Though it is a "why" question about someone's behavior (which can be difficult to answer heremenutically) and has taken an assumption that worship is a key theme of the book (albeit based off another's study), I personally don't see an issue with it and find the question intriguing. One can always challenge the assumption in an answer.
And the edit (which I just looked at) certainly improved it, though did not eliminate the two points I noted above. But again, those two points do not disqualify it as a valid question for me.
