@Caleb (or other wise bods) - I would like to offer a couple corrections to this helpful post, but it would be too long for a comment. What's recommended? Add it as postscript to my own answer? split over more than one comment? or other? Advice appreciated!

@Davïd If your relations with the OP are amicable or you think the corrections will be non-controversial I would actually just edit them in with a friendly edit message to the OP suggesting they review the substantiative changes. If you expect them to be objected to for whatever reason you could either approach the OP first and ask permission or just go ahead and comment/split. Unless it starts turning into a discussion, one or two splits here and there isn't the end of the world.
Presuming the "corrections" don't end up providing a separate answer, I'd go for trying to get the original fixed if possible.

@Davïd - please do not hesitate to correct / emend/ tweak - I was awake until 3:00 am writing the post, and I was exhausted just to finish the work. That is, I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

@Joseph Hi Joseph! Don't often see you in The Library. :) Glad you chipped in on Job 6:14 - it was a bigger question than I realized! There's just one item on v. 21, and some tweaks on the Masorah info.
@Joseph I'll go ahead and edit, but please feel free to roll-back, re-edit, incorporate differently, whatever. I think (in @Caleb's terms) these are "non-controversial". :)

@Joseph There is one more substantive issue, though, and that's the relation of 2 Kgs 21:22. 'azab is used quite a lot of abandoning the Lord, and the form 1 K 21:22 is waw-consec, and not likely the point of the Masoretic note.
Come to think of it . . . maybe I'll just leave this for the moment! :) Perhaps my "tweaks" have more implications than I thought.
I could write them up for you, perhaps, somewhere. What do you think?
