Hi everyone! I've got a question that wouldn't fit on the main site (I think), but perhaps there are people in here that can share some insights, if that's okay? I'm looking for equipment to video my front yard. Something preferably wireless (as I have no chance of getting wired power/internet out there), that I can stream to my PC or smart TV, that can run for a few hours on end. And that gives a bit higher quality imagery than the webcam I've got aimed through the window right now...

Does anyone know where to start such a search? My searches for good camera's for birdwatching/wildlife watching are ending up with 'wild cameras' or 'trail cameras' but those mostly only activate when movement is detected ór are very expensive (and I was hoping to not spend much more than 150 euros on it)

@Tinkeringbell I'd suggest searching wireless battery wifi video camera. Maybe solar instead of battery if you're interested in that route. The problem you're likely going to find is that, at that price point, unless you buy a name brand IoT-style subscription security camera, you're probably not going to be able to stream the content; rather, you'll probably have to connect to the camera's built-in "web server" / wifi router, as an isolated server-client network of 2, no internet connection.

@scottbb that seems manageable though, as long as I can connect to it wirelessly I'm happy (because then the camera can be outside while I watch inside). I'll do some searching, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
