Hi, been a while since my last visit. :)
A few days ago I received a rather large sum of money, and now I'm wanting to buy a 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Original Sony version of that lens is too pricey to my taste, but Sigma and Tamron lenses look okay.
Now, Sigma 70-200mm is about 1100 euros here, and Tamron is 1500 euros. The question now is if Tamron really is worth the extra 400?

Been reading... Tamron has slightly better image quality, and is weather sealed. Sounds good. :)

@EsaPaulasto If it is the latest version (Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2) that integrates with the new Tamron dock it certainly is. By all reports it can give the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II a run for its money.
@EsaPaulasto Since Sigma and Tamron have made several different versions of 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses perhaps you could let us know which specific one from each that you are considering. Sadly, it does not appear the Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 is available in Sony E-mount.
