Though I am keeping the A37 too. Or at least until I figure out if I really have any use for it anymore...

@EsaPaulasto not too surprising. I just find it interesting how obvious lens issues become after a while, particularly when you consider that most average people looking at that image probably won't even notice

I was surprised last night when I detected some encoding artifact issues on audio that I was listening to which my dad couldn't even tell were there, despite the fact he's actually relatively technical (though not as experienced or trained as I am)

@AJHenderson Yeah, true. And my eyes spot photos that have been postprocessed with too much clarity effect. That is, afaik, mostly just an unsharpen mask added with some extra sharpening. It is called the clarity slider in LR.

I use unsharpen mask + sharpening tools on about every photo I process, but quite moderately so. Trying not to leave strong tell-tales behind. :)

Here's one photo, where I used unsharpen mask the way it is used in Clarity-slider...

Whereas my usual would be to use unsharpen mask only on very small radius to make the photo look sharper than it really is. ;)
