I didn't exactly know how the sun would be... I made a bracketed shot (5 images) at f/11, ISO 100...
I ended up using only 3 of my 5 images because Digital Photo Professional didn't allow me to put more than 3 HDR images...
Cranked up the saturation mostly to get this look... I like it... What do you guys think of them ? Is there something I did wrong ?
What setup do you guys use when shooting sunrise / sunset (assuming it would be the same kind of setup) ?
Oh, I got a lot of lens flare... Since I was pointing towards the sun, I guess it's a normal consequence... First image shot with a Canon 100mm Macro f/2.8 USM, 2nd and 3rd with Canon 24-105 f/4 @ 24.
@AndyM - the last one looks great on a mobile phone display. Only the partially showing tree on the right side bothers me. I bet you could crop the tree away, and maybe some of the lefthandside as well, plus top&bottom to keep the ratio.
