Hello, I couldn't find a questions about what to specifically look for when testing a wide angle lens. Do any of you know of any?

9:31 AM
@HåkonKOlafsen Hi, sorry it's quiet in here tonight. I don't know of any specific to wide angle lenses. I suppose you'd look more at distortion and maybe softness in the corners. That's something that you could get off review sites more than testing it yourself.
I see you asked a question, so hopefully you'll get an answer. As far as I know, you'd look out for the same things as any lens.

It's based on reviews that I've decided to go for the Canon 10-22 and not the Sigma 10-20 f3.5, so I'm just interested in testing this particular lens to see if it has any defects.

@Paul Cezanne - I am going to Belize(near belize city, belize) march 25th-apr1st. I used this website to see when the moon will be up and what phase it will be timeanddate.com/worldclock/…
From that it looks like it will be up during the day during most of my trip, but the middle to last few days it will be out during the early night, and between 30-60% illuminated.
