Is there Internet Download Manager (IDM) available for Ubuntu? If it is not, Please recommend the Software like IDM for Ubuntu. Downloading Large Files with Browsers is always have some problem.
In a previous episode “Can I ask for recommended websites?”, we concluded (in Angelo Neuschitzer's words):
No to Websites; Yes to Webapps.
I think the main difference between websites and software is what they are about.
Websites are about content. You read / write / look at or list...
Any mods in here that feel like moving the following question to the ebooks stack exchange site (no answers for the OP after 22 hours and it is a better fit for that site)?
I want to publish my book as an epub to Google Play Books. It contains multiple choice questions in the first half of the book, followed by the same questions with the answers highlighted and explanations in the other half.
I have used Calibre to make an ePub version with some success, however ...
Any advice on using ZRTP and OtR over XMPP on a Window Surface tablet device? Would Jitsi work? Miranda IM has surface versions and an open source OtR plugin supposedly.
Generic part:
I would like to learn about the applications that exist in a certain class of software on Linux. How do I best ask a question about that on Software Recommendations in a way that will follow the rules of the site and be useful and informative for others in the long term?

This site has a relatively low number of users for now, so I'm constantly getting anoyed (how do you spell that word?) by the same sort of comments.
They are not necessarily stupid in themselves, but are turned in such a manner that they get on my nerves soon enough.
Far from me the idea of pursuing a user into perdition, but I get a sense that blocking the guy would prevent me from "helping" the site to improve by getting rid of his "stupid" comments.
