I think the beta communitee here, while not of one mind with a few issues (Eg Games or Not, and 1 softwere rec per answer), all have the same clear vision for the site.

While that vision may be a bad idea (time will tell). It is clear and uniform

lol. I tend to try to do the sort of answers I do on SU, but 'pure' software rec answers have been frowned on a while

Sometimes I can't summon that kinda energy for a response. and just want to be like "Bleh, here is a solution. It is easy, do it."

One reason I tend to do this thing where I try to post between 1-3 answers a day ;p

gets you a load of answers and rep, and its easy enough to do

SF bugs me, because of all the Identify This Book questions, that completely skew the rep.

They score really high, but are terrible questions as they are either trivial (and thus not valid) or guessing games (and thus not valid)

(I am guilty of posting them once or twice)
