I use php/rails/node.js on my MacbookPro and every time (literally, every time) I shut down a server and start it up again (ie, ctrl+c .....'rails server'), I have to lsof -wni tcp:$1 then kill -9 the open processes. I have no crazy/intricate customizations. Why in the world is this happening?
