@JNat in case you still have a question: i am LPIC2 certified (going for LPIC3 this year)

2 hours later…
10:52 AM
@DennisNolte I was just wondering about how people found the Linux Foundation exams. I'm guessing you have no clue about that

11:10 AM
@JNat what do you mean with found? the questions are on the net, and so are the answers, you just need to memorize them, same as with a lot of cisco or other exams
if you want to "pass" easy , that is.
if you wonder however how the questions got to the net, i assume teachers are at least partially to blame, some questions are in the LPI test programs anyway, so i guess with just copy/pase or reverse engineering you get a lot of them already, and the rest is to be obtained by teachers or via the "certified training centers".

@DennisNolte I meant about the difficulty and whatnot. The Linux Foundation is not with questions and answers, though
They are performance based

ah fuck, sorry, the one i was talking about was the linux professional institute.

@DennisNolte no problem

id go with the LPIC Certs if you need a cert. However this might be different in your country.
For mine (.de) a lot of people i know who work as sysadmins have at least some LPI Certs.
the one you refering to reads to me as " stay in class for X days, get cert without actually proof of knowledge" , but i only glanced at the page.
