Hello

hi

I've been at work 7 minutes and already I want to stab someone.... I think that's a record - normally its much quicker.

9:33 AM
@ITHedgeHog 7 minutes and you want to stab someone.... what did happen?

9:48 AM
reading this question; serverfault.com/questions/296227/… it appears Hyper-V doesn't allow you to configure its virtual switches to not allow mac spoofing, arp poisoning etc. Is that the case? if so that's a bit shit, where's that MS Shill when you need him

10:00 AM
That comment on Womble's response can't be right, can it?
Requiring a physical adaptor for each virtual switch?

Logic says unlikely

well, if anything is true in this question, I'll stay in my position that Hyper-V is a really well done crap

agreed

10:39 AM
Do some of you know some website with howto for creating a fully completed documentation?

Q: Adding 10GbE to a ring of 3com 4200 switches

user25417We have 5 3com 4200 switches forming a ring (connected using 10GBase-CX4 XENPAK modules) and would like to add a few servers with 10GbE adapters soon. The offer we are currently looking at consists of a Voltaire 6024 10GbE switch and various transceivers so we can add it to our ring: 2 SFP+ 10...

5 switches...in a RING!!! what time's 'Dynasty' on? Where are my RayBans?
a crossed-cube yes but a ring?

12:06 PM
token ring?

@Chopper3 I was actually just going to ask what happened to the MS fan that was here a bit ago...didn't know if someone chased him off or he just got miffed.

@BartSilverstrim Both

@BartSilverstrim That's too bad. With the VMware license brouhaha, he could have provided valuable insight on the Hyper-V technologies.

The sales job that helps sell itself while VMWare's salespeople are getting casts on their feet?

12:26 PM
@Chopper3 @SmallClanger @AnarkoBizounours You can use the same virtual adapter on multiple VM's

@ITHedgeHog for Hyper-V?

Yeah
You can even have a single virtual switch in multiple vlan's if your networking is set up correctly

Well that's a relief, but I'm not really fond in ms technology, and for me hyper-v is still lack a lot to be like a real hypervisor level 1

I don't know why he can sniff packets though, that sounds like he's messed up his config

I like sniffing packets. They smell like rainbows.

12:31 PM
@jscott Jake Oshins lurks around the site; not sure if MS would like him chatting with us though.

12:44 PM
@Anarko_Bizounours Like what?

No have to install it throught the windows server 2008 gui for exemple...

@Anarko_Bizounours What's the installer have to do with anything?

@AnarkoBizounours It can be installed by powershell, or you can install the barebones free version.

well, an hypervisor level 1 is an os... having to install it after install an os, is not being level 1...
@ITHedgeHog didn't knew that about the barebone free version. Will look onto it later

@Anarko_Bizounours Hyper-V installs under the Windows primary partition... It's not running on Windows per-se.

12:55 PM
Anarko, you should really grab a Hyper-V Book and read up on how its built. The whole of Server 2008 has been built so that they can deploy Hyper-V through it in a secure fashion

I'm thinking you've got some bad misconceptions about Hyper-V...

What @ChrisS said
Chris... get of my brain ;)

Well, I'm sorry, I'll try playing with Hyper-V some day, to be not mislead by some bad misconceptions

If you ever want a book recommendation, just give me a shout - I've probably read them all ;)

'morning folks

12:58 PM
@Anarko_Bizounours Nothing to apologize about... Just saying, it's not the way you think it is...
Morning @MarkM

So, maybe I'm late to noticing it, but did anyone else see EA's new gravitar?
I laughed so hard

@MarkM EA's?

Evan Anderson
Highest rep user on the site

@ChrisS And I appologies for having said that without knowing well Hyper-V
@ITHedgeHog I'll appreciate some advice for that thanks
@MarkM Oh, not the poney anymore?

It's him in the same pose as @Chopper3

1:02 PM
@Anarko: Check the wikipedia page on hyper-v and the links from there to wiki articles on hypervisors. That should catch you up to some speed to at least get you into the race.

We should get everyone to do that, and I mean everyone. No avatar no question ;)

Haha
Where the hell do you find a taxi ride with paddinton bear in it though

@BartSilverstrim Thank you

Sam
Afternoon all

@MarkM Yeah It was friday, he did speak with chopper about that... and the chat turn to a paddington fun right after!

1:05 PM
Afternoon @Sam

found in the hypervisor wikipedia pages :
"Note: Microsoft Hyper-V (released in June 2008)[6] exemplifies a type 1 product that can be mistaken for a type 2. Both the free stand-alone version and the version that is part of the commercial Windows Server 2008 product use a
virtualized Windows Server 2008 parent partition to manage the Type 1 Hyper-V hypervisor. In both cases the Hyper-V hypervisor loads prior to the management operating system, and any virtual environments created run directly on the hypervisor, not via the management operating system."
Well I was wrong. It's on me!

@MarkM I don't know, but if I find one I'm doing it too.

Same

@MarkM Chopper3 said he found his one, in a attraction park.
It's all in friday chat history
hmm, maybe don't go that back...
it's on the 28th
why did I think on friday....
Evan Anderson
8:20 AM
@chopper3: My new, temporary avatar (come on Gravatar) is meant as a gesture of flattery (and, well, hilarity). I saw the subject of the picture and just couldn't resist it. (My wife couldn't figure out why I wanted to have her take the pic but I convinced her to just take it...)
Chopper3
@EvanAnderson the story with that image is that as a kid I LOVED the paddington stories so much that I appeared on a tv show called 'junior mastermaster" answering questions about them. Then a few years ago my family and I went to a really super crappy theme park for a day with another family - I was hating it so much that I had that photo taken of me looking miserable with a childhood 'pal'
@EvanAnderson I have to say I utterly love that picture evan, thank you very much indeed - the odd thing is that I've grown a beard like yours over the last month so we don't even look too diff
enjoy

@ChrisS @MarkM: Let's see some variation: Do one in a bus with a ninja turle, or in a tank with Winnie the Pooh...

Oh backup exec, how you vex me

I think we used to have that. DPM kicks you in the nuts with sneakers, while Backup Exec used boots.

@BartSilverstrim Steel toe boots too

Cost of living analysis in NorCal. Is it worth it? businessinsider.com/silicon-valley-salaries-2011-8

2:28 PM
wow you housing costs are so cheap

What's a house cost over there?

:-( I'm underpaid. But they don't list my type of job on that...not a software engineer.

it depends chris but most people spend around 30-40% of their income on mortgage/rent

@Chopper3 Where are you living? 40% of my pay? I want to move there, its like 55% of my pay

My house mortgage is ~$10k/y (with Taxes and Insurance in escrow) which is <20% of my income. The general rule of thumb for buying a house here is to take what you make in a year, multiple by 2 and 3, your house should cost in that range. People commonly rent based on a similar payment as the previous.

2:36 PM
(Which I hasten to add, is why I'm stuck renting).

@ITHedgeHog wow - that's a lot, even by UK standards

Sam
My rent comes to about 20%, but then I live out in t'countryside so it's cheaper

@Chopper3 I live in an expensive area for housing

same here but still only about 30-35% for me

2:54 PM
Loving my job today, just got asked "How long will it be before your app is finished" to which I replied with a grin "Here is some string, I'll tell you how much to cut when I get the specification"

@ITHedgeHog Well said! You weren't scolled?
scolled... what that... I mean yelled at

It was the PM, he's quite abashed now as he realises the mistake.

A: NETGEAR switch hard reset

Chopper3HERE's the manual, there appears to be a section on how to do just that.

Epic answer @Chopper3

sorry

lmgtfy

It staggers me that people will put the effort in to come here to ask a question but won't just type in {model name} manual, press enter then search for like one word

"i have no console cable or a hyperterminal access" - Geek card revoked!

@Chopper3 lol, it was a congratulation - not a put down. I loved that answer :D

k

That's a good one, @ChrisS.

@wfaulk: As I recall there was some brouhaha over using lmgtfy as any sort of answer. Apparently it offended people or offended new people or something.

@BartSilverstrim Yeah; it's actually blocked and has been for a while.
Most of the URL shorteners will be blocked soon (or already) too.

3:21 PM
@BartSilverstrim that would be an enormous shame now wouldn't it

Sniff I sense sarcasm

In America we somehow developed a sense of entitlement to think we have a right not to be offended at anything.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.

3:34 PM
@BartSilverstrim I think there's a line in the sand somewhere... Telling her to RTFM with a link directly to it is stepping on the line... LMGTFY is well over it.

Sam
Not only the poor question, but the fact that he has posted his whole host file, that is full of entries to prevent Adobe software contacting the licence servers for activation

It must be I want to be a Hyper-V Reseller day on ServerFault today

@ChrisS: Personally, I don't jump right to the LMGTFY response. I would try to give the benefit of the doubt...straight link, point it out, and hope it's a little of a "oops, duh" moment for them. By the same token, I don't get all pissy if someone did that to me, though. I might think they're a jerk but I wouldn't rage against them for being an ass unless they pressed the issue.

@ITHedgeHog I know Hyper-V pretty well and wouldn't want to sell it (except to people who really know what they're doing; that'd be different).

My point is that we seem to think we have a right not to be offended. If something bothers us, people start campaigns to ban or outlaw that with offends us, or harass the "offender" into silence.
Tomtom is about as offensive as they come on the site but I wouldn't ban him unless he were actually harassing people, which he doesn't.
Your line in the sand for me is just a line to tell me someone is either having a bad day or someone I don't really want to talk to. Not someone to censor.

3:39 PM
@ChrisS I agree with you, I certainly wouldn't try it by renting a dedicated box from a company like that.

That's what I thought your rep and badges are supposed to symbolize...your community's response to you.

Does Hyper-V have any form of licence management built in, I know for instance that an enterprise version lets you have some (5?) standard edition VMs running on it before you hit a licence wall, DC version may be unlimited - but is there any code to deal with this or is it on a trust basis?

AFAIK its trust based, but you've just reminded me you're meant to have a special kind of license for hosting other customers.

ah ok

(I'm now having a cold sweat, hate licensing)

3:49 PM
@Chopper3 The activation process enforces it to an extent... Standard can only be activated 3 times on real hardware and 3 more on virtual. Enterprise 3 real, 15 VM. DC unlimited both. Call it "Trust, and verify if we feel like it"

ah ok, I've some code for 2008 that lets us activate it seemingly as many times as we like, guess it's a corporate deal

@ITHedgeHog SPLA is a bit of a BS deal, but MS wants to keep Companies providing MS products as SaaS on a short leash...

I know, we're lucky we avoid having to be on that agreement

@Chopper3 There's a dozen different types of license keys. The above info is only for Retail keys. MSDN keys are good for 500 activations, then have to call and get it reset for the next 500. VL (KMS) keys are unlimited, but they'll look at the data when you renew your licenses at the end of the year. Academic are variations of the aforementioned licenses. And that's just different license types, there's also license bundles!
Also SPLA, Partner Keys, and I'm sure I'm missing something....

>.< @ChrisS with all of this licensing talk you are really spoiling us

3:57 PM
Gives me a headache just thinking about it all.

4:36 PM
Howdy folks

Sam
afternoon

4:54 PM
hey

5:05 PM
I really hope AMY doesn't know the admin password to that Netgear switch. If she does, I'd ban her from the site for a week for being a moron.

Anyone running OSX Lion?

@Jacob: I am.
@Chopper3 is, I believe.

yep

How buggy has it been?
Worth the upgrade?

very good, especially for the money

5:11 PM
Buggy - I haven't run into the glitches reported.
That was what Time Machine was for.

not using the mission control thing, but do love the launchpad

$30 for up to 5 machines? seems worth it to me.

full disk encryption is perfect
more than 5 bart

Plus Xcode is free now if you use it (with Lion).

@BartSilverstrim I only have 1 mac :)

5:12 PM
not sure how many but more than 5 for sure

I just knew of the 5 authorized thing off the app store.
Full disk encryption, encrypted time machine.

but I've used it on 7 machines
email is better but takes some getting used to

I know it seems you can install it as many times as you want...but I don't know what the terms are.
I know it seems you can install it as many times as you want...but I don't know what the terms are.
I just know it had something to do with authorized systems via your account on the app store, which I thought was 5.
If you burn the DVD prior to running the installer it doesn't seem to verify anything.

going to make one of my machines a server when that comes out - purely to act as an update server, download once etc.

There's a definitely different feel to it, but it's not bad.

5:15 PM
full screen is no use right now but hey, it's cheap right?

Lots of additional swipe gestures. I changed the mouse-scrolling behavior, it went backwards for me.
Compatibility doesn't seem too big an issue, as long as you read up on the issues with MS Office.
(I don't use it so... :-p )
Oh, and it needs to re-download Java afterwards.
FileVault 2 actually works with Time Machine properly now.
That's a plus. I just have to eject my TM disk before taking my notebook for a walk instead of logging off and waiting for my encrypted disk image to sync up. Saves a LOT of time.
@Jacob: I just made sure I had a fully updated Time Machine backup and took the plunge. If anything goes catastrophically wrong, you can restore from backup.
@Jacob: I also made a bootable DVD in case there are problems. You can find instructions online, but you have to make it at the step AFTER you download the installer, but BEFORE you run the installer.
There's a restore feature that lets you boot to a restore partition in lion, even reinstalling OS X via the Internet, but I don't know how that would work if the drive fries completely.
(hence the DVD image)
Otherwise I've not run into any major issues, knock on wood.

poor enough written to close immediately? serverfault.com/questions/296385/…

@Chopper3 yes

5:37 PM
@Chopper3: This site is for professionals, next time don't post configs to this site proving you're a software thief. The hosts file? Really?
...wow chat is having a funny 5 minutes.

6:00 PM
Chats back

6:13 PM
yes, yes it is

@tombull89 that ok?

Who killed chat a while ago>?

6:38 PM
so guys, I need an opinion here
(and perhaps a test from some people outside NY)
Right now Nassau County (where I live) is holding a special referendum on spending $400M for a new hockey stadium.
So if you don't know where your polling place is, or the hours, etc. you would normally go to www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/BOE/index.html and look it up
That site seems to be down from me (from my office, our datacenter, my datacenter, and AT&T via my iPhone). Conspiracy, or just the usual gross incompetence we have around here?

dead from the UK too

Is local government competent enough to perform technological conspiracies?

@MarkM also, we have no idea what you're talking about. Chat is fine. Chat has always been fine. Outages happen to other people, not us.

Then again, they could just pull the power cord out of the XP box that the site is running on. I guess that's a possibility.

@Iain I bet you see the same routing loop I see (inside the county's network :-)

6:42 PM
yep
12.148.224.99 12.148.224.65

naw, packets are bouncing back and forth between 12.148.224.65 & 12.148.224.99. Either someone hosed internal routing or someone was told to make the site inaccessible for a while.
(I am leaning toward incompetence. This county SUCKS -- Largest Export: Talented People. Largest Import: Red Ink.)

Was I wrong to move this question or is the poster being a little bitch? superuser.com/questions/317735/…

Seem's a good move to me

thanks

He got good answers, Fedora is more of a desktop OS then server OS. It is a really basic question. The move seems fine. I think it would have been valid on SF. But it is just as fine on SU.

6:55 PM
@Chopper3 It probably should have gone to unix.SE, but SU works too.

Sweet, Mifi acquired

@Chopper3 $USER="Whiny little bitch"

:)

"Come back when you've read and fully understood the concept of disks, partitions, slices and filesystems" would have been my migration comment :)

@Chopper3 Just seemed odd...software thief, how?

7:06 PM
Can I get a link to this Q please?

@tombull89, his hosts file before someone edited it included the records to redirect requests to the adobe registration server to localhost. - superuser.com/questions/317692/…

@Zoredache lol

@Zoredache woah haha. BAAAD idea, I see your point now.

@tombull89 sorry, phone rang, yep - famous way of hacking adobe products

@Chopper3 re-direct all requests to the server to localhost? But surely the product would squack after actually being unable to authenticate?

7:15 PM
No, this is adobe

How quaint.

8:15 PM
Always fun to learn about a switch you've never used before as a result of a mistype.
Especially when it's rm
rm --help
my friend

. . .
man commandname

That too.

cheaper, safer, and you'll never wind up removing the --help file you just created as a message in a bottle for your assistant to come get you out of the locked storage closet in subbasement 7B

When I search for info on a command, if I see a return from LinuxForums.com I can guarantee that at least the first three answers will be some variant of "man command "

Also, in regards to @BartSilverstrim on packet sniffing: Do encapsulated packets smell like double rainbows?
@WesleyDavid If you search for my username on SF you can guarantee that 75% of my answers will end with "See man commandname (link to manpage) for more information", or "For the love of god buy DNS and BIND before you try to run a freakin' nameserver!"

8:20 PM
I wish this was an IRC channel. Oh the fun we could have with our own eggdrop bot.

wow, I must be tired, I read the message below as the author....
@WesleyDavid We had a chat bot in here a while back
it kept tripping some kind of spam detection. Probably because we were abusing the fuck out of it.

And no one invited me? pouts What was its guts?

not sure
don't remember its name either or I'd scrub through logs

tcl FTW

TCL: Truly Crappy Language
C: as in "See, I told you so."
C++: as in "See, I told you again. Some people never listen."
I forget the one for Java

8:26 PM
A boolean passes a friend in the hall, and notes he looks quite depressed. The friend vaguely recalls a recent family tragedy and asks, "Hey, is it true your parents died last week in a Garbage Collection accident?" The boolean replies, "Yeah, and now I've got no place to live, either." The friend is shocked, and asks, "But weren't you in their will?" The boolean sighs and says, "Nope, no will, no inheritance..."

Maybe they should have read the manual. ;p

8:44 PM
I just realized that the majority of my food decisions are being made like this:

if ( canEatWithOneHand ) {continue();}
else { return 0; }

I guess that is one way to choose food.

@WesleyDavid Just keep one pinky clean and you can mouse scroll and click like that and eat with two hands.

I'm hoping to date someone in the medicla field so I can get intravenous nourishment options.
It is a fact with me that I hate eating. Such a waste of time and effort. I long for the day when pills will sustain us completely.

@WesleyDavid Your code is flawed.
If that 0 return value propagates back up the food consuming process will exit successfully when you have not been fed.

I like food. It makes me happy when I'm sad.

8:53 PM
Food pisses me off.

Yikes. Lightning is really kicking in here.

Perhaps you should return EBUSY or EPIPE?

I could really use some food right now in fact

I could use a small bottle of acetaminophen.

I had to withdraw money from my retirement savings (hah!) to make ends meet... icky.

9:00 PM
First day of the live MS CRM deployment. I'm just astounded by the resource requirements to made it work.

@ChrisS acetaminophen, or "acetaminophen"?

@voretaq7 I need to stay lucid so I can bump the RAM a dozen more gigs in a hour...

I was thinking you wanted some cyanide for your users

No; but for the vendor who put this memory leak of a program together...... maybe.

Nah, for something like that you want a device that propels a projectile at high velocities in a slight ballistic arc.

9:04 PM
@Holocryptic no, for that you want a mass driver on rails (reusable)

@voretaq7 Just get a reloader. Cheaper

9:31 PM
There's not any way (on purpose) to find out who upvoted your comments or questions (or answers), correct?

9:45 PM
@Aaron Correct. By design.

9:58 PM
ok thanks

10:25 PM
Why do you ask?

hi
i know this is not a database chat but my question is suited for sysadmins and dba's
can i ask?
if i have a 3 column(varchar,all indexed) Inno-db table with a billion rows will it be good for serving data real time

@lovesh You'd have better luck asking on dba.stackexchange.com with more details about exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

the rooms are kinda empty

but for serving read-only data performance would probably be fine. Inserting with those indexes may have a performance hit though.
that's why we have the websites - you ask a question, people come by and answer them :)

yes,thanks
can i ask some hosting related questions, if u hav a few minutes @voretaq7
i mean web hosting

10:34 PM
I'm not very familiar with MySQL's indexing logic so I don't know much about how it performs
& I'm also on my way out of the office, but I'll be on here mañana

are u familiar with web hostings
i m planning to go for either a shared or a VPS but have a few doubts

post your question here: serverfault.com

@wfaulk its not exactly one question they are few small doubts that will look trivial to people over here
@wfaulk if i go for a shared hosting or VPS will it give the same control as i have over my localhost like modifying apache.conf,mysql.conf,etc

@lovesh First. search for your answer. If none is found, then ask it in a detailed and thorough manner, making sure to lay out your concerns and ask a specific question - without apologies. If you get flamed, it will only be by the baser members of the community that should probably be ignored anyway.
If it's better suited for another site, then it will be moved there, not to annoy or punish you, but to make sure that your question is better served by the proper audience.

@WesleyDavid ok,thanks for the advice

10:40 PM
And shared hosting will likely not give you the control that you want
For example, I just came into chat after working on a client's shared host... and it's annoyingly hard to get work done.

wat abt VPS?

I have my own VPS and love that I have total shell access.
A VPS will give you virtually the same access as if you had your own physical box in a rack somewhere.

do u mind telling how much u pay yearly?

I pay $35 a month for a managed, cPanel VPS.
So the fact that it's managed makes it cost more, and the fact that it's a cPanel box also makes it more expensive.
Let me show you my plan...

managed? can u please tell me wats managed

10:42 PM
I have the "MAN-ZONE2" account: vpszone.com/managed-vps.html
So it's a Xen VPS, which is nice for RAM purposes as opposed to the more common OpenVZ VPSs that you'll find.
Managed means that if I have issues, I can put in a support ticket and have the hosting company help me out.

i think i have a good idea for a website but can i start with a shared hosting and move to a VPS after 2 months without any trouble

I'm going to get a LIN-ZONE2 here: vpszone.com/linux-vps.html
And it's unmanaged, so costs less but if something goes wrong with the LAMP stack, it's 100% up to me to fix it.

do u think cpanel is really neccessary?

If there's a hardware issue or the VPS goes down as a whole, then it's VPS Zone's issue to deal with.
cPanel isn't necessary, no, but some clients will like the ability to use it.
So I can give a client a cPanel account and they'll have their own little world to point-and-click through.

@WesleyDavid in the LIN-ZONE2 plan?

10:45 PM
/me hates cpanel....

Not sure what your last question is in reference to. The LIN-ZONE2 is unmanaged and without cPanel.
cPanel is getting on my nerves, yes.

you said "If there's a hardware issue or the VPS goes down as a whole, then it's VPS Zone's issue to deal with."
is this true for linzone -2?
can i start with a shared hosting and move to a VPS after 2 months without any trouble?

Yes, that's true for lin-zone2. Basically, anything that would be "above" the VPS is the provider's issue to deal with. So if Xen burps and causes VPS issues, or if their firewalls go wonky or server's go down... then it's on their heads to support and fix.
And yes, you can get a shared account and move it to the VPS. I've done that several times so far - moved a shared account to my VPS.
VPS-Zone doesn't offer shared accounts though, only VPSs. Hence the name "VPS Zone" =)

does that bring down the site for some time?

For a brief period, yes. Most of the delay would be from DNS propagation, but if you lower the TTL values down to 5 seconds or so, cutting over to the new server should only take a few minutes - depending on what the site is used for.

@WesleyDavid so if i get a shared hosting from Fatcow and move it to a VPS on VPS zone it wud bring down the site for some time? or is it even possible?

IF you have a multi-gigabyte database to migrate, then sure that'll take long.

@WesleyDavid, you probably have more experience with shared hosts. Do they let you configure apache to act as a proxy?
If yes, you could migrate your data, convert apache on old host to proxy to the new

Yes, it would interrupt the site's service for anywhere from just a few minutes to a fwe hours depending on how much content needs to be migrated. If it takes 2 hours to replicate all content, then you can't have your users using the site for two hours so there's no conflicts with content.

then update dns.

10:50 PM
I've never seen that (shared host allowing proxy), but it might be possible.

and wats the transition time frm 1 vps to another if i have like 4-5 gb data?

Purely based on bandwidth available.

ok

You could also run the sites in parallel for a while if you can design your site to work that way.
leave both up and running, just have the old site point databases or whatever on the new server.

Most VPSs give you a 1GBit pipe, and let's generously say that 100MBits will be available... so... let's say 10MBytes a sec... that'll take maybe 15 minutes
Good point @Zoredache

10:53 PM
thats acceptable

A transition without interruption is almost always possible, it just takes planning ahead. The exact details depend heavily on how your application/site works.

so if i get a shared hosting from Fatcow and move it to a VPS on VPS zone it wud bring down the site for some time? or is it even possible?

Your question is too general.

@lovesh It would bring the site down only if you could not make the FatCow server either act as a proxy or code your web application to send database communication to the VPS during the transition.
It's possible to transfer without interruption, but more specific detail on the application and the hosts would be necessary.

this is not Fatcow specific i m asking whether its possible to switch hosting providers

10:55 PM
It's possibly possible, and that's about as specific as I can get.

ok gr8

@lovesh, design your application and site so it will be possible. Then it will be possible.

@WesleyDavid you knw a lot do you run your own hosting company or have u worked in one?
ok u own a company i saw in ur profile

@lovesh 1) I don't know a lot, but thanks for the complement. =)
2) I don't work for a hosting company.
3) I work as an independent contractor for small business so I've had to deal with shared hosting accounts more than I wish I did.
Yes, the company in my profile is just my contracting business. Perhaps some day I'll host my own services but not today.

can i take some more of ur time?
a few mins more?

10:58 PM
@lovesh Sure, what else would you like to know?

What is the average airspeed of an unladen swallow?

12 meters per second
