@Scott in InDesign CC I have many rendering glitches and they've been there in all versions on different computers in the last 5 years. Not sure if exactly like you describe. Sometimes I get these tiles that won't update and then it's time to save because the glitch will also start to affect the UI.

Sometimes anti-aliasing switches off for a single document. No change in settings will fix it and I have to close and reopen the document.

Sometimes the full screen preview (shift+w) is out of sync with the actual document so it shows me an earlier version of the document.

And in full screen preview I always have a horizontal 1 px white line near the top.

I wish Adobe would address all these small annoyances instead of keep bloating their programs with toy functions, but I need to watch my blood pressure so let's not go there again. 😅
