unfortunately, sometimes a person has to make their own process and as much as you'd like to help and be there, it's their decision. Pushing them into letting you in only makes things worse. Sometimes, time helps and they come to their senses. If not, then you had nothing to do there in the first place (their problem)

nothing I can do at this point. I'm trying to date this other girl, but it still hurts that she's not even friends and talking to me now. I don't think I deserve that. I'm trying to not overreact and give her time but it feels awful right now

oh well. The CSS is completely broken in Firefox, so until I dedicate some time to fix that I won't worry about it much. Maybe they won't renew the domain in a few months :)

took a really long time to load, of course it does suggest using chrome while I'm in Firefox

well it asks you to use Chrome because the CSS is broken in Firefox. Something with the flexboxes

For the hackathon you only have to develop for one browser, so Firefox wasn't tested along the way

I do like the landing page a lot. Nice logo and cool animations in the background

I didn't expect that but I'll take it haha

it relies extremely heavily on third party servers and APIs, so load time is mostly out of our hands apart from any caching we can do

Anyone have suggestions for something I could find safe pictures of at work to practice sketching between projects / taking breaks?

At home I've been using softcore / artsy porn to practice nude figure drawing but that won't go over very well at work. Maybe I should use dog / cat photos. That could be interesting.

Hey everybody! Sorry to barge in, but I just have a quick question that doesn't really fit the SE format. I'm pretty familiar actually using web technologies, but I don't know that much about actual web site design. Do y'all know of any good, fairly comprehensive resources for learning just the visual and maybe UX aspects of web design?

I'd prefer if they were free and accessible online. I'm trying to learn in general, but I'm also working on a website for my college newspaper at the moment, if that makes any difference.
