@ZachSaucier the power of negative space. Good to see you here again!

not sure I agree with one particular answer but I won't say which as it could give it away

I failed a lot of answers, and I don't really agree with some
but then again, I'm no star in exhibit gfx

I only missed one, the one I don't agree with

yup. I agree
I answered A. there, and I stand by that answer
but I can imagine the Q being a bit vague

yeah thats what I answered.
Surprised you missed other ones though

I'm not very experienced in exhibit design

alright you showed me up on that one @joojaa :)

I feel like that question doesn't meet the new CV reason

I considered the "apart from manual positioning" sufficient
that's good enough for what he's tried for me

4:40 PM
@JohnB well i do teach this sort of stuff for a living. Did youget to test the python script

no, I've never used Tk
I added another answer that uses a Transform effect that aligns the dots, pretty much the same as a blend

@ZachSaucier i dont understand what you mean
if your on a mac you should be able to run the code directly by putting it in a file and setting execution flags on.
yes muy better
i would do it one row at a time to get the multiplicity. Still no big job to do.

yeah me too, but I didn't want the answer to be too long explaining exactly how to vectorize that

Oregon is so stupid... recreational marijuana was legalized here July 1, 2015... the trick.. there is no place where you can legally buy marijuana. :)
Apparently the "alcohol commission" is working up regulations before legal sales can be implemented.. which isn't anticipated until some time in mid to late 2016.
Until then the only way to get marijuana legally is to have someone with a medical marijuana card purchase it and give it to you.
Medical cards run roughly $250-$300 if you can get one.
... not that I'm a big weed smoker... but if it's legal, I'd spark up every now and then. Similar to how I have a 12 pack of beer in the fridge that lasts 6 months to a year.
... sure is dead around here lately :)

what's the line for?

So.. I have an opinion based question...

In movies and TV when they show coding it's always white on black or green on black. This reminds me of pre-color monitors. Are those that do a lot fo coding still using dark screens with light text? Isn't color coding on white more common today?

I am pretty sure coding on black is more common still
most devs I know prefer dark themes

8:43 PM
Really?

We are looking at a screen all day

That's interesting. I coudl never work for long periods that way

I can't look at a bright white one

I start seeing trailing stripes when I look away.
If it's white on black

well, most don't use hard white
but we never look away anyway :P

8:44 PM
True :)
I jsut think of it alot like reversed web sites.. just hard on the eyes

I like it

I could never do that for more than 10 minutes :)

8:56 PM
My answer bit out of hand
I code on white mostly, if somebody asks. But i do use monakai sometimes
I hate the font rendering of sublime text gets my eyes twitchy... too bad i love it otherwise

yeah my eyes get twitchy after staring at whit eon black too long.

so scott you think 3 examples of different laguages is enoug of a primer?

primer for what?
Gotta reboot....
