painter is a common word, Painter captitalized is a proper name of a specific piece of well known software. Corel Painter
if you're on Windows you could probably use nearly all the same advice in Krita which is free

@Ryan my point here is that there is no way to say "no google, i mean Painter with a capital P"

it's the second result for me, first is a local painting company. But I get your point, a link would be nice or just write Corel Painter

I agree at some point they could've said Corel Painter in the first use but I don't see it as a big issue either. Could just look up "Painter application" or "Painter software" and its the first result

Well to be honest Illustrator is a normal word as in Painter putting "Painter application" in google should sort it out.
In any case i feel that Microsoft is genuinely trolling the internet. Lets look at their naming shceme .NET, COM two of their king maker platforms **totally** ungoogleable. Not that you can BING them either...
