then I dont understand.. if the question and answers are out of date why not make a new question referencing the old question as a source.. BUT then you will be stuck with regularly updating your answer over time.
I'm okay with leaving it as is. The nature of anything posted on the internet will make it susceptible to obsolenity (is that an actual word?)
when I come across an SO post for a problem I'm having, I always read every answer. There is often a better solution that has less upvotes and isn't the accepted one
