Honestly, I put Yiesla and JohnB above Alan, Alan's been good, and certainly has the knowledge, but JohnB and Yiesla have a lot more enthusiasm, which helps a ton.
@Yisela we have a wonderful saying in Dutch, playing off the fact that the words for 'to worry (about)' and 'to care (for)' are identical. It translates as 'Do not worry, care for others instead.'

@yisela I took two Ibuprofen the first night but haven't taken anything since. Last year when it first happened was really bad and I was on Muscle Relaxants and Corticosteroids
its already mostly better. ill probably just go a bit light on my workouts again this week and then go right back to it. Just no heavy oblique work. Both times its happened was after doing heavy rotational exercises for my abs
when I finished high school I really wanted to go to Northern Shaolin Temple in China to train instead of college. Then there was the sars outbreak and my parents wouldn't let me
I think it's new for most people here, it's new for me too even if I have voted in SO elections before (but always felt I was watching there, rather than participating in a more active way)

...i was perfectly prepared for that i would fail miserably, but then i would have used the pieces as arty-farty sculpture
thing is: these things are incredibly well engineered, there are some exquisitely machined parts with tolerances at 0.05mm bend one of them a smidgen and it all collapses. imagine: the gears for the ribbon :S i am no engineer, but i recognise beautiful inner workings when i see it :D
hmm in light of the election I went to check my flags. The main "decline" that I have is calling a particular answer spam. Not sure why a mod didn't agree with my take on this one

The comment makes it feel a little less spam-like but I still question it
not exactly, "This question is effectively an advertisement with no disclosure. It is not useful or relevant, but promotional."
It can be related but if it requires clicking to an outside company and that company isn't free then its generally viewed as spam. Especially if the answer doesn't hold up on its own (ie: saying this site has a list of books, instead of actually listing those books)
see all that stuff at the end jasonsantamar-20 places a cookie on your computer that tells amazon you came from jasonsantamar-20's recommendation. So then when you buy something that user gets a profit
well before his comment the answer was entirely useless without clicking to the links and then on those links all of them are affiliate links to amazon
to be fair it would be a little bit hypocritical to delete because of affiliate linkage - any Amazon links posted in answers/questions (and chat too I think?) automatically get converted to affiliate links to generate revenue for SE
