@DanHulme Yeah, real ATC transmission will always be more non-standard, especially in the US. I thought it would however be more beneficial to readers to have the correct phraseology available there.

@casey works with the Tb10 as well, I learned the hard way that it's important to calculate my speeds based on current weight every time :P (I floated over 1000ft on a 2600ft runway the first time I flew it solo)

@falstro it works with many, I just used the piper example as those are fairly easy to find for rent (with an instructor if needed), at least around here anyway

Saw that my answers have reached an estimated 250,000 people... somewhat humbling. Realized the outreach the other week when I was sitting in class and my groupmate was reading one of @voretaq7's answers.
also very nice to see that we almost fulfill all the beta requirements :) can't wait to get a nice layout.

@MikeFoxtrot this point came up other times: don't take the Area51 "requirements" as black/white conditions, a lot of other factors are taken into consideration from the management to decide if and when a site goes from beta to the next stage

Indeed, i know, but we are still increasing steadily... compare it to space SE that is still hanging around with 3 questions per day.

@MikeFoxtrot That's probably because a lot more people have been in airplanes than in space.

absolutely. but we are still unlike them developing and growing...

Q: What should I do when a question should be split?

MikeFoxtrotThis question in the second one in a week that I would have liked to split into two separate ones. IFE has very little to do with cabin lightening and it would perhaps see that the OP was just wondering about both and asked them together. It is not really productive for the site question database...
