I just loaded into Ubuntu from Grub, but no, could not login to vc

i can use ctrl-alt-delete there to reboot back to grub, but ctrl-alt-f1 did not work

so not sure what is wrong with it. I made sure to write it down properly, but now I am doubting myself, maybe I am getting a little tired

did you turn off secure boot?

turn off secure boot by changing UEFI mode to legacy mode in bios.Secure boot may prevent your Ubuntu os from booting.

ok so UEFI was already disabled. There is no option to explicitly change to legacy mode in my BIOS. I just have the option to enable or diable UEFI. So I assume that UEFI disabled means that legacy mode is operating
