@daviesgeek hurray! I just looked at your profile and saw you were 16 and homeschooled - same (well, i'm 17, but close enough). We need more young people on here!

whoa, weird how my name shows up in two forms (Thomas Shields & Doubting Thomas) in the starred messages list...

okay, we seriously need some more conversation here. The top 5 starred messages are by a teenager and an atheist. Not that they aren't good starred messages... but where's the great debates?

Well, it's not half bad considering the other SE chatrooms. I think the Stackoverflow migrants who haunt this site (like myself) are just answering questions in their "free time" at work. So no time for extended debate.

We need to allow gospel as distinct from gospels.

The latter refers to the four accounts of Jesus's life. The former refers to the core message of Christianity.

@DoubtingThomas I think the SE engine auto merges plurals by default.

But a meta post would clarify that and if there is anything to be done about it.
